Thank You All for your ongoing support as we moved into the last half of 2019! 

We are making strides, as our volunteers are working to make our processes more efficient, and better serving our researchers. We have reorganized, and updated our publications list and added it as a regular addition to our quarterly, and are attending events in our community. 

We have been very happy to see more individuals, and groups researching in-office....We appreciate and enjoy our members visiting as well, so please come and see us during office hours! 

I also wanted to thank our regular volunteers, and all of their efforts to make Randolph County Genealogical Society of Illinois a great place to be, and a great place to research!

​As the year progresses, and we work to serve our researchers, I want to thank our volunteers and members for their continuing support. 

Our organization has been hard at work, and planning for July. We are returning to our public events that we have attended in past years. We have been planning to have tables at Steeleville, Illinois July 4th Celebration, Tilden, Illinois and its town picnic.., and the John A. Logan Book Conference. We are also planning a field trip, and speakers for the year. 

Our main focus is to serve our researchers, and provide, maintain, and expand the resources available to aid their inquiries. 

I am happy to say that we are continuing to provide a great service to our researchers.

I wanted to give an update on what has been happening this year...I think we have made a lot of progress! 

We have been continuing an ongoing progress of updating, and maintaining our records, including adding electronic records. We have also, with guidance of our Librarian, rearranged our library to better serve our researchers. We are now working to do more community outreach, and arranging speakers.

I know we would have accomplished even more this year, and in spite of the inclement weather.
